Billy Hawn is a drummer-percussionist who has recorded or shared the stage with such artists as Jason Reeves, Colbie Caillat, Andy Grammer, Katy Perry, Sara Bareilles, Delta Goodrem, Brett Dennen, Charlotte Martin, Pat Green, Mandy Moore, Jason Michael Carroll, Glen Phillips, Tristan Prettyman, Steve Poltz, David Crosby, Dana Carvey, The Indigo Girls, Jackson Browne, Joey Ryan, Damien Rice, Amber Rubarth, Garrison Starr and many others. In 2008 he released his first solo percussion album entitled "Voices In My Head - a percussive collection by billy hawn". When he is not touring, Billy can be found playing gigs or recording with some of today's best singer-songwriters in the Los Angeles, Nashville and New York City music scenes. Billy's love for drumming began at an early age, and this passion eventually led him to become a member of the world-renowned Madison Scouts Drum & Bugle Corps percussion section under the direction of Mr. Jeff Moore. Over the years, Billy has diligently built his own personal percussive reputation through performances both live and in the studio. He is known among his peers in the music business for his unique fusion of kit, hand drums, and percussion. Billy's tremendous passion for adding just the right amount of percussive "spice" to any style of music - whether on stage or in the studio - continues to be his defining trait.
